Who should be running for president?

Given the thread BA started, which links to the 'who do you support' quiz, I got to thinking about why so many of the numbers (agreement) were so low.

Why do we accept agreeing with 30 or 40% (on average) of a candidates views, yet vote for them? That sucks.

Who is out there that (is probably an independent) that should be in the race, that might make a better fit? That you would agree with more?

The proper thing to do would be accept you made a mistake, pay back all your tea taxes and welcome the Queen back into your lives.

No more than some of the others who post here.
Oh and telling someone to belt up is not the act of a gentleman.

Condoleezza Rice, or Arnold Schwarzenegger.

If I were a USA citizen, I'd vote for either.

I think we are ready for a Zelda/Maynard ticket.

I'd vote for Donald Rumsfeld in a second. I don't think he'll run as an independant.
