Great Planes Yak 54?
 I receintly built and flew a great planes 41" Yak54 electric. I realy like the way it flies so I am considering getting a larger Yak. I already have a fox 2.4 gas motor that is for sale but if I do not get my price I am thinking about keeping the motor and puting in a Yak. Is the great plane 25% Yak 54 a good choice? Are there other I should consider? Is this motor going to be enough for this plane. I see many others are using DA 50.
Thanks for any comments.

A friend has the EF Yak and loves it. His is powered by a G-38. http://extremeflightrc.com/html/74yak54.html

I power my Yak with a ZDZ 50. It probably is overpowered, but that just adds to the fun. I think this is one of the best flying planes I currently have. Handles great in the wind also. I highly recommend it.

GP Yak 54 and cowl measurment
A friend had a Brison 2.4 on his GP Yak and he stated it would just barley pull out of a hover. That he wanted a little more verticle and wished he had a DA 50 in it.
The cowl measurement diameter at the rear is 9". The opening at the front is 6 1/4". Length aprox 10 1/2". Hope this helps.

Thanks rica1. That helps me alot. I have been thinking about getting a DA 50 or somthing of similar size and power. I may just sell the 2.4 or put it on a 1/4 scale biplane.
