Well, first prototype fuselage made, assembled and test flown. SO Far A-Ok!! :D Pretty windy today but the body flew very well. I know it has the skids on right now and to get it even closer to scale like, I at least plan on doing the trike landing gear. The plan is to use some genuine Super Skids parts and I will construct a base plate, Bend some music wire and purchasing some 3/4" tail wheels for wheels. Yes, It will add a little more weight but shouldnt be a problem. There are several ways to construct the fuselage, one way is to glue the tail boom to the main body therefore you can loose the stock tailboomand mount the tailrotor housing and motor to the tail. I assembled the prototype with the stock boom and elevated the tail using brass tuibing as I did with my Cobra body. Even though it has the skids on it still looked pretty slick in the air.
Speaking of slicks(UH-1D), I think I'll be getting that one finished next.

That looks Great Darthdrk Are you going to offer the wire wheel kit with it of at least a drawing showing how it's done??? I might have to build one of these for my spare honeybee cp I have laying around....

Yes, I think I will be including a diagram and a listing of the materials I use. I should also be doing a chassis build here possibly in this thread.

Great that will make it alot easier for a first time builder of a fuselage......

Added a few bits

I did a little more detailing. I added the rear horizontal tailfin and also some detail to the weapon wings. Im using balsa for the bits for weight considerations.

I will be picking up the bits today to do the wheel landing gear

It's coming together nicely.... The more I look at it the better I like it....
