Color scheme "Breitling Jet Team" for Aero Alca L-159

1 Attachment(s)
I've built the Vasa Alca L-159B. Now I'm looking for a nice color scheme. The "Breitling Jet Team" flies the Alca L-39 and I like this blue / yellow color scheme.

Now I'm looking for a "Breitling Jet Team" decal set. Scale about 1:12.
OR
Has anybody graphic files from this color scheme? Important is the graphic on the fin and the Breitling logo. Also, does anybody know the exact color definition?

Thanks for any hint.

Norbert

Hi Kenneth

Thanks for your help and the nice pics. I had the same idea an asked the "Breitling Jet Team" for the color scheme. So I got about the same mail back from Francois :)

Unfortunately Francois has only a low resolution .JPG picture. So I'm still looking for a vector graphic at least for the BREITLING logo to create my own decals.

Best Regards - Norbert

Hi Norbert,
also looking for something like this? I took a set of pics of their L-39 at Dijon in 2004... also I met them at Al Ain a few weeks ago... I could mail you more pics if you want to.
Cheers,
RD

I believe SH stand's for Steve Hollasch.

SH= Steve Hollasch MSIE + pigments

Looks like the Blue Angels colors or very close to it.

Thanks mode101

A lot of "colorful" links. But I haven't found a conversion from SH 50908 to RAL or Pantone. Any further hints?

Regards - Norbert

Norbert:

I don't know? I would contact them again and have them clarify the code.

Good Luck

After the unsuccessful search on the WWW I remembered me to the good old telephone. A call to BREITLING SA at Grenchen, Switzerland gave me the success. Some days after the call, I got a CD-ROM with graphic files from the "Breitling Jet Team". Now I own files from the BREITLING - Logo and from a four side view in EPS- und PDF- Format.

Now I hope to get the decal set in about 2 weeks :)

The Vasa Alca L-159B is finished and ready for maiden. The decal set in perfect quality was made by www.jr-foliendesign.de

Actually I'm waiting for a calm day for maiden. If there are any experiences with the Alca, please let me know!

Best regards - Norbert

ePower,

Your L-159 looks awesome! Good luck with the maiden. I have a VASA F-5 and really like the way it flies.
