Is your New Years Resolution still going strong?

#2 Mr. Wiz Jan 13, 2006 01:36 PM

Well, gee, my resolution seems pretty insignificant compared to yours. Mine is to keep better track of my billable time at work. It's coming along nicely. I wish you continued success with yours.

Good luck on your quest. It's a noble one.

I made a resolution years ago that I wouldn't make any more New Year's resolutions, and so far I've kept to it pretty well. ;)

I never really understood why people always want to wait until 1 January to make a change if they know they need to. To each his own. :)

Congrats Dave! You'll also have more money to spend on RC :)
Mine was making a point of getting more exercise. So far so good.

Hey good for you man. I resolved to quit smoking one month before my wedding. Since new years I have cut down from one pack a day to exactly 5 cigs per day. Next week I start smoking 4 per day. Everytime I've tried cold turkey I stop to get gas, and somehow end up with a fresh pack in pocket when I get home.

Good for you Dave! :)

I've still got to face the alcohol-free challenge, but in the last 20 years I've given up cannabis, tobacco and meat.

This year it's the turn of chocolate, cakes, crisps and all the other usual junk snacks I tend to nibble 'tween meals.

My New Year's resolution back in '76 was no more resolutions, so far, so good! :D 30 years of resolution abstinance! Wow!

My resolution has and always will be,.. seeing how much procrastination I can stand.

Greet the new year, same as the old year.
