Hey, I put pleas reply not becuase i thought u wouldnt answer, but becuase i would like to hear everyones oppions. Ok so heres teh question. What would be the best brushless set-up for 150$ on a GWS formosa. Motor, Esc and Li-po battery. Thanks alout for your help and time!

Also, can you list the specs with the proper prop? Like thrust, speed ect...

I would go with this motor and a 10X4.7 APC prop to start.

I would use the TP 1320 3-Cell.

Per Motocalc it will pull 11.3 amps and 24 ounces of thrust static.

A 10X7 APC prop would be 13.7 amps and 23.5 ounces of thrust.

CC Pheonix 25(3amp bec) Gobrusless triple with 7 turns of double stranded 24 ga. terminated wye. Tanic 1080 3s Start with a 9X6 APC and check the amps. Set it for about 150 amps.
This is just a guess, I have never gotten around to buying a Formosa. It's on my list, but this is where I would start... and then retracts, and glassing...and

My dad runs the 400t w/8x4 prop and a 1500 mah battery. 9 amps

This setup is a good sport pattern flyer it'll hover it at full throttle (16.5 oz) but the battery is cool and you get good 12minute aggressive flights.

Vinnie has some more ballistic setups for a formosa that'll easily fit in your budget. You will not be sorry.
