I hate Tuesdays!!

I woke up this morning, walked outside to take in a nice breath of fresh morning air and noticed that the door was wide open on my car, upon closer inspection I noticed that the door handle was broken, and my cell phone and charger was gone, so I called the cell phone company to report a stolen cell phone.

No calls were made on it which was a good thing, but I didn’t have any replacement insurance, so they tell me I have to pay 50 bucks for another cell phone, I told them I wanted to hold off a bit and decide what I wanted to do (maybe a good time to switch cell phone carriers?) At least they suspended my phone for me.

I proceed into the garage to charge up my deep cycle marine battery, but without my glasses, I couldn’t see which was positive and which was negative, and hooked the charger up backwards, and ‘poof’ went the charger, so into the garbage the charger goes.

Having my run of bad luck today, I decided it would be best to go out and do a little hobby shopping, so off to the hobby shop I go, with the idea of finding a nice little free flight airplane kit that my son and I might be able to put together and fly, something simple, and inexpensive, and after a little looking, I found just what I was looking for, a little Guillows glider, so I bought the glider and headed for home.

I pulled into my driveway, went in the house, left the glider on the dash of the car and fiddled around in the house for about 10 minutes, went back outside, and noticed that the car door was again wide open, and the glider was gone.

I still have to go to work tonight, and am wondering now if it would be best to just call it a day and lock myself in the house and just stay home.

Do you know what the scariest part about this whole thing is? The day ain’t over yet!!!

I think tonight would be a good night to set the bait, and hide in the bushes.

And I think I got the perfect bait …. :D

Funny enough I "FOUND" a cell phone, charger and glider today! What are the chances of that?

You stinker, ....actually, I know SnowJackal personally, and no, it wasn't him, but if you do happen to see someone walking around talking on a cell phone and carrying a Guillows glider, you might want to trip him and take his glider, he can keep the cell phone, I never liked that phone anyway. :D

But now that my wife thinks my "teenagers car" is now also a "target", and she told me today in not so many words "the car needs to GO AWAY NOW", I'm really having a hard time coming up with a good excuse to keep it.

Sounds like you've got some mischevious kids in that neighborhood. I don't think an adult would be dumb enough to want to break into a car for a cell phone and toy airplane.

I'm going to set some "bait" and do a midnight watch to see if I can catch the crook, if I catch him, I'm going to expect my phone back, plus the plane, and ....well I can't hope for to much, I'd just like to catch the rotten sun of a gun that broke into my car today, not wonce, but twiice.

Paintball guns leave terrible bruises at close distance..

Can't you just hear it.
*two guys talking in jail*
"why are you in here?"
"I stole a car"
"what about you?"
"I stole a Guillows plane"

I sat out there half the night last night, and the little stinker never showed up
