Anybody seen one of these. The Videos look interesting. Should be something to see at 28.1" long and 16.5" wide!
I think maybe I need one! Tower says they'll have them in time for Xmas!

Where I could run one would be a huge issue here. The local AMA Flying club has lost their second field already this year because of the noise issue when an adjoining property owner bought the property just so he could kick them off the field. They have not been able to find a new site to lease and are driving 60 miles to fly at another club! People are funny as they don't complain about the noise from leaf blowers, lawn mowers or chain saw but see anyone having fun with a model that makes a little noise and they go ballistic! That's why I have gone completely to electric.

Perfect!
These buggies use basically a weed eater/Leaf blower motor, and make about the same amount of noise, less than a leaf blower actually. The big buggies are a blast at the beach!

We have the Oregon Dunes which would be a total blast but I have to drive about 65 miles to get there! But it would be worth it for a day of fun! They allow ATV's and Dune Buggies. The only danger is a ATV blasting over the hill and running over your car!

xtm also has just recently released an oversized buggy thats supposed to b 1/7th scale but it seems to b near the same dimensions(actually that uses a .28 and should b a lot lighter), and so has sombody else
i would trust traxxas or duratrax first though

i would like one, but cant bring myself to put that kinda $$ into one

I meet with the boys (both in their 50's) on Thanksgiving and we will finalize which way we are going to go at that time. One thing I thought of is we are only a few miles from Junction City and one of the sons is Pres of Country Coach and the other is a Senior VP and they have all kinds of room and noise is no problem. If we decide to go the Big Buggy Route I am sure a race track with all the bells and whistles would magically appear out on the property. A few of the Country Coach owners have Off Road Cars so that's a great excuse to set up a track! :D

Plettenberg 370/50/A1, 28 cells, and 32.80k should fix the noise problem and give you all the power you can handle. Your wallet on the other hand........

If I can find a roller sometime or a buyer for the engine, I have the room.

to big for me. id do like it but around here there is now room to drive it. to drive it id have to drive about 100 miles to my uncles house and drive it. besides the run about $1500. that would be a cool electric though.
