Oh, hey Jared, the Motors came in. I have them in my box. Remind me to give them to you Tuesday.

Darren

PS -- since we were talking about Jet stuff, here's the latest pic of my EDF squadron (two are foamies :D )

Hey cool Darren!

Could you bring your amp reader too? I want to see what my formosa is pulling

Thor, I just maidened my 42 inch Unicorn and the CG is about right. I built mine right at 9.75" and it feels tail heavy in the air, very sensitive to input and inverted requires very little elevon to sustain it. But, that's how I like it.

As always, start at the recommended CG and move it around to fit your flying style. What time are u guys tomorrow?

#8 Airhole Nov 01, 2004 12:31 PM

We usually start the combat right about noon.

Darren tends to show up around 11:30-11:45ish and start flying his other planes while he waits for us to come and and play...

moo.

This awsome weather better hold up for 25 more hours!

My son found a black left rudder for a Unicorn with velcro at the US synthetics field. Any of you missing one ???

#12 Lee Nov 01, 2004 04:03 PM

Sorry duplicate

#13 Jared_Zygote Nov 01, 2004 04:58 PM

Yea we have seen that winglet out there. We keep leaving it hoping the owner will come back for it. It has somehow eluded the lawn mower for months!!!

#14 Darren Hintze Nov 01, 2004 05:08 PM

If it's the thicker black cloroplast, it's probably one of mine -- although I don't recall losing one. My plane still has two. Humm... I think we did do some trading with my spare one though. Maybe I didn't get the spare one back in my box after flying.

Who knows :D

I'll try to remember to put my meter back in my box Jared. Since the F-18 requires a boatload of support gear (fishing meter to measure bungee pull, hammer, et. al.) I don't usually keep the meter in my box anymore. But I'll try to remember to drop it in for Tuesday.
