why I absolutly hate this forum and everyone in it, but you dont hear me complaining do ya? ;) :D :D :D :D

But seriously, I hate people who make mysterious profiles like "gonzoD" , mangle fred bronk's avatar and post information on freezing batteries in apple cider to get to charge them at 5 amps ;)

ok that was really funny so I guess I dont hate anything ;)

I have to agree with Opaulan on the PM issues, but shouldn't this be posted in "Site Suggestions and Complaints"

I don't like PMs at all. I think they're inconvenient and have turned the "feature" off. Just send me an email. Then I can type a lengthy reply without having to cut out many lines of well thought out ideas, and file messages and replies in an easily retrievable manner. Plus on one of them I couldn't stop being notified of the message until I had replied to it.

The pm's are annoying I agree, but what really gets me are the people who absolutely refuse to use the search function before asking the same questions that have come up 1000 times before.

AArgh!!!

I think the search "button" should be much more obvious. Can't really blame folks for not finding it. However I also hate getting jumped on for being too curt when I post only the url of the results of a search. Trying to be helpful, but don't feel like typing a lot for a question that's been discussed ad nauseam.

OOOPPPS. That wasn't directed at Mark.
I have taken legal action against the individual. Thanks for all your help Mark;)

I never seem to have any luck using the search feature. Even when I am trying to find a topic that I have seen before. Reckon I need to work on my search skills!! Does anyone know how long messages are stored anyway? Surely threads from years ago aren't kept.
