Usually, no. One vendor (Kontronik) sells a twin motor/single ESC combo that works, but in general, you'll have startup issues.

There's a guy in AP forum "Bar-stool" who does this on one of his AP planes and apparently has no problems. I think he does something unusual in the way it's wired?

I run two Astro Micr Fans off one CC Ph-25.
Runs real good with no startup issues.
It will work or not depending on motor/ESC conditions.
Sometimes it works well, sometimes not at all.
With the Astro's it works well all the time.
I got lucky.
Two PJS-300-SF's on one CC Ph-10 was a total NO-GO.

I guess it depends on what brushless motors you are using. Some motors will work and others just don't.
