On Topic- The Best Car for hauling Electrics ! + Smash or Trash my new Car

Wellllll, I've had it for 2 months now, and have intended to make this thread since the day I got it. I have just found this to be the best car for going flying I have ever had. It's like the size of a Beetle on the outside, with the room of a Van inside. Drives great, excellent mileage, and certainly draws attention :p

As I said- Draws attention, both positive and negative- people either love it or hate it. So here's your opportunity- Smash if you love it, trash it if you think it's an ugly heap.

What in the devil is it? Kinda cute. At least it's better looking than that Honda thing that looks like it's made of spare parts.

Can you post some pictures of the car itself? All I see is the box it came in.

Thanks, Pete

Hi Bill

Love it! Ideal shape for a hobby buggy, even if it cost about the same as an electric 30% on lipos ;) Even stranger shape on the road than Honda's Elefant, but with more practical doors.

But think - you could have had a top heavy three ton converted truck that does 10MPG instead ;)

Not sure if I'd trade my beloved wagon for one, but definitely an aeromodeller's car.

Regards

Dereck

How much are they going for ,that would look kinda cool with some custom rims and a tint job!

Definitely looks like a good platform for hauling planes.

However, it also looks like you could power it with a couple of Tanic 2600 packs ;)

Looks like auto design has come full circle:

This has got to be the ugliest thing since the Aztec. How this car is supposed to appeal to 20 something's I don't know. I'm a 20 something and it is about as far from interesting/cool/desirable as I can think a car can get. What is it? A minivan that Toyota tells us is hip and is what 20something's want so 40 something people will buy? It looks exactly like a slightly shrunken Chevy Astro. You could plate it in gold and it would still be a small minivan. When a company comes out with a line of cars meant for the younger generation and they all look like that, and they are selling what is the world coming to?

For now I'll keep driving my ultra practical Mustang to the flying field.

Yikes.

I drew some wheels on a cardboard box for my daughter to play in like she was driving a car....

ummmmm, I sense some similarity here...

I think the boxy little thing is cute, but then I had 5 Mini Coopers in the 60's and 70's, so I may be biased towards the weird...
