Dear RCGROUPS Flyers:

I am creating this thread for those that live in BREVARD County, Florida and who frequents several clubs near Titusville, Cocoa, Viera, and Palm Bay.

Clubs that may be AMA or not....

Okay, today, Saturday, Feb. 21, 2004, I saw the best looking SIG DEMOISELLE ever!

Take a look!

EDIT: I am posting two Google Earth aerial pictures so, people can find the club. :p

If you are coming from the West take SR-50 and as soon as you pass underneath the I-95 overpass you would need to make your first Right turn into Windover Way and this road is between a Mobil Gas Station and Circle K. You travel South along Windover and about 1/10th of a mile you will see a white gravel driveway on the right. You enter there! ;)

EDIT: Tony Speed's new RC Club Web Site Creation!!!!

This SIG kit was built per spec's and take a look at the wheels! Now that is a "LOT OF HARD WORK" !!!

The wheels have fuel tubing as the cushion and glued around the ply wheel.:p

Power system is the same as what comes with the GWS TIGER MOTH and it's the 5.86:1 wih the Indoor Power System (IPS) Brush motor.

1. The gentleman was flying her with just 7 Cells, 275mAH, Ni-MH, Battery pack.

2. Swinging the GWS "Slow Flyer" 10 X 4.7 Prop.

3. Fishing line was the only control for the fixed Vertical and Horizontal Stab which piviots and the fishing lines pull-pull the entire assembly, just like the real thing in the early 1900's.

The model did take off and flew about 3 feet off the ground but, didn't lift anymore on account the he didn't have anymore up and could not adjust at the field the fishing line control.

Nice very slow flyer!

DR1 wins!

The best scale flying model was the DR1 in my belief, it performed spetacular SLOW FLYBYS and at times it actually performed KNIFE EDGE passes.

Here she is at the field...

Oh, there was Mark, a co-worker who came to visit both in person and over head with his very own ULTRA LIGHT...

He is coming out of a roll that he performed several times for us and I was ready with the camera!
