Sometimes you get a wild hair....now I understand why you don't see many of these scratchbuilt.

molded 1/16 contets grade balsa.

19.5 inch wingspan, functional wing slats, lps power system, GWS rec. with Falcon servos.

Weight at this stage with no equipment installed is 1.1 oz.

The next challenge is making molds and vacuforming the windows since they are all compound curves.

Omar, Now I know why you sounded a little more crazy than normal on the telephone the other day......Must have been gluing on those fuselage ribs! Nothing like these long Bemidji winters to build character. Beautiful job as usual!

Thank you Alfredo,

The power will be from 2 145 LiPo's and I hope to come out at about 2.5 oz. or under. At 60 sq in of wing area it may be a little fast but time will tell. I will update as I go.
