haha

#5 esa3 Feb 09, 2013 06:17 PM

That's when I buy my items. Free shipping.

#6 badpilotto Feb 09, 2013 06:19 PM

Unless the product is 50% off and shipping isn't 90% cost of the product.

#7 dbc Feb 10, 2013 08:35 AM

$36 shipping quoted on the $74 Dynam. Shipping half the cost of the plane! And you want to give me $3.70 off??? - what a deal!!!

#8 goldsworthy Feb 10, 2013 09:22 AM

Just send them your money and don't complain who cares what the shipping costs are?

#9 Platinum321 Feb 10, 2013 10:32 AM

Yes the shipping there is outrageous.

would it feel better it they said $105.00 free shipping? Where else do you get a rft (assuming), or similar for that price? I tend to look at the whole cost of the item and determine if I think it's fair. There are some high shipping prices out there for sure though.

They intentionally profit from shipping. That is dishonest in my opinion. If they want my business they need to be fair minded. I used to be a good customer of Nitroplanes. Since they started their shady sale price tactics I'm no longer interested in anything they offer. I immediately delete any email promos they send to me. I don't like people or companies that play games. Haven't bought anything from them in over a year. And don't think they are not aware of the objections, they just do not care. Sorry to say NitroNancy, you are a pawn in their game and/or a knowing accomplice .

Shipping and handling. Tape, cardboard boxes, air pillows, packing peanuts, shipping labels. For sellers like you are me, we either dumpster dive or recycle that stuff. For a company who ships however many items a day, they have to pay for that. That's before you get into the wages of the person who gets this at the warehouse and sends it on it's way. Does anyone think they are getting a better deal when it says "free shipping"?

#13 RAMFlyer Feb 10, 2013 06:11 PM

WHAT air pillows and peanuts????? Never found any of those in my nitro shipments. You must be SPECIAL...

#14 garrettt04s Feb 10, 2013 06:20 PM

Ya i wont buy from then anymore and have bought quite a few models from them in the past. There shipping is far from fair. I can get a better deal from any other number of sites. Plus they pay less to ship than we so. So whats it really costing them?

I watch the emails, websites, and flyers all the time.
But when I see a plane go on "sale" but the shipping costs goes up to compensate for the reduced cost, or the "Regular price" gets super inflated so that the plane looks like it is on sale when the sale price is the same as the regular price before the sale I get fed up too.
I have moved on past that and have switched to other companies that don't do that.

I'm just tired of the games. Now I only deal with straight up stores.
They still exist and want our business.
And for that I get great service and I appreciate that.
