Super Decathlon PNP 1800mm wingspan for $96.80

While picking up an order from Hobbyking at their warehouse in Lakewood, Washington State, Dale the manager, states there is a discount for an incorrectly colored or cracked engine cowling on the Super Decathlon. He brings one out and proceeds to open the brand new package and explained there are around 40 in stock to sell at $99.79 so, I purchased one. Later I will post a pic of the issue but I wanted to get this deal out in case someone wants to take advantage of it.

Go to this weblink:

http://www.hobbyking.com/buddy.asp?c...3-B7362CD5AF5F

I may just buy two more.

If I remember correctly the shipping is something like $80 and there is no other alternative :(

#4 badpilotto Feb 01, 2013 05:14 PM

Koo,

I am not sure because I live 5 miles from the warehouse and just pick it up.
The box is large 51"x 17"x14".
Sorry

If I were to have this plane shipped to me it would cost $29.99.

Super deal if you can pick it up.

For me, an additional $112 to ship to Texas. :-(

Yeah, minus food and time it would almost be the same to just drive the 8 hours and pick it up lmao

#10 badpilotto Feb 01, 2013 06:07 PM

Kenny,

I think it would only be prudent for that trip to coincide with trip to visit beautiful downtown Seattle and while visiting, pick up the plane:)

#11 kennyhoc3 Feb 01, 2013 06:21 PM

Yes, Might as well haha!

#12 jt182 Feb 01, 2013 06:47 PM

I just had to check and see what the shipping was for me. It came to 118.00 Dollars to ship the plane up here total price 218.20!

#13 badpilotto Feb 01, 2013 06:51 PM

jt,
That is crazy high price. I think HK needs a warehouse in MA.... LOL

#14 jt182 Feb 01, 2013 07:06 PM

Ya the shipping from them kicks my butt it's why I won't buy a plane from them. I have bought planes from places in CA that were bigger than this Decathlon and the shipping was only 35 bucks.
Oh well what can a east coaster do.

Or you could be a nice guy and drive over pick it up and ship to me.:D

#15 badpilotto Feb 01, 2013 07:40 PM

jt,

I did not think of that, good point maybe I should check out the movement charges and purchase all of them. For $45 I might be able to ship one anywhere in the United States..... I mailed a Valentines Day package to my wife and daughters today from WA to IL and the cost was $14.20 for four shirts at 5.3lbs
