Very exciting! Multiplex has hit the long ball again. Is the Funman a revised MiniMag? I can't wait and heck, I'm in my early eighties.

MiniMag with different decor and bigger wheels ... and no longer available as kit, but RTF with brushless drive system and two servos as minimum.

Birthday in June - I guess they'll be available in UK by then - definitely will be requesting a Solius from SWMBO, then it's "Toss a Coin Time" to decide whether to buy myself a FunCub or a FunMan.

Wow, thank you for posting. I'm liking my Calypso but the Solius looks like a great next step. I still need to catch up with a Twinstar II and Fun Cub, maybe Multiplex has a payment plan...

Thanks for the video Jurgen.

For me, the Solius hits the mark and may well be the model that takes me back to some gliding after about a year of flying mainly sport models.

What I like: And been looking for in a glider!

Good size ( not too big/small), T Tail, straight wings with some dihedral, main wheel, transparent canopy ( add a pilot), 3s 2200mah lipo's. Hey presto, a great semi-scale looking model.

And, being Mpx, no niggly mods to do, or parts to replace to get it to fly well.

I'm very tempted.

Steve.

Jurgen, any idea when the new offerrings will be available in the USA? I know the FunCub took forever.

Well, models like the FunCub, Xeno, DogFighter etc. took a long time over here too, before they became available. This time everything appears to be different. The new models for 2013 are not only presented at the International Toy Fair, but already available in the shops.
