Weight for frame

I could only find 3/4" square tube 1/16" thick. I see a lot of people using 1.5cm and 5/8". I machined away a fair amount of material. It still seems extremely strong. I have two long pieces that are notched and sandwiched with two CD's. I'm wondering where I am as far as weight. The bare frame with top and bottom plate and hardware is 280g. It looks cool for sure, but wondering how it will function. Each arm is 12" from center. How is that weight for its size? Am I in the ball park?

Yeah, probably. I am working on my first quad, and making it out of wood, and I came up to about 230 grams. Here's the frame. It's 230 grams without motors, motor mounting hardware, or the battery.
