Hey whats with the iPhone label on the side of the box? And the name "Recon"? Do tell... :)

Looks interesting anyway. The legs should protect the motors well.

Can anyone post details of the FC? Is it 6 Axis? Can you fly gyro only? Is tuning possible?

Any advantages over the other DSM2 ladybird FC?

Cheers...

WOW!!!!

Look at this! Look at this!!

And check this pic out guys !

Looks like its got some sort of modular swappable RX board so you can change or swap what RX-TX you want to use.

Looks like the desinger has future proofed the main gyro and ESC-FET board with a 1 gram plug in modular RX board that plugs in to the top of the (gyro and ESC-FET board) ;)

Hay :)he could even make a futaba 2.4 module to plug in on top of the gyro and ESC-FET board .

Hey Richos, whats you're relationship to the product?

Do you have any info on my questions above? Mainly interested what tuning and options are possible with the flight controller.

Cheers mate.

I have no relationship whis this product Soma .

I have the Hudsan x4 and the SYMA X1 , i got them for the UK winter season so i could keep my Tx skills in check over the winter.
Im a DSM2 micro um-umx aircraft flyer and fly a few micro blade choppers indoor over the winter season.
I started to get interested in micro - mini brushed motor quads only 6 weeks ago when i started to look at the (Mini Multirotor RCgroup site) so i got the Hudsan x4 and the SYMA X1 to see what all the excitement was all about . I decided to get a direct drive, and a geared drive proped quad to try out .

And WOW! the Hudsan x4 and the SYMA X1 flew out of the box with no probs (i dont think the x4 and x1 are toys) i class them as hobby grade not toy grade ;)

Now for the down side of the little micro-mini Hudsan x4 and the SYMA X1 :(

The toy grade TX of the little micro-mini Hudsan x4 and the SYMA X1 TOTALLY LET DOWN the x1 and x4 . The resolution of the TX's are C:censored:p.. :( and i need a separate TX for each quad

I want a micro quad i can bind with my DSM2 DX6i that i use with my micro um-umx aircraft and micro blade micro choppers with good resolution and model memory settings.:o

Ok ive seen video and heard of the Spektrum DSM2 mQX and the DSM2 ladybird , but heard issues conserning them

And i do like the look of the plug modular swappable RX board that plugs in to the top of the (gyro and ESC-FET board)

I think i might give the DSM2-DMSS REDCON HiBiRD Mini 120mm Quadcopter a go .....

And its cheap :D

Thanks Richos! It sounded a bit like you were involved in the project.

I have had a similar search. My main trainer quad at the moment is a V929 with a mQX board. Works really well. I just oldered some (micro JST i think) leads to the mQX board so they plug into the V929 motors the other end.

The V929 is $32 now! I just buy another one now and then for spares. The mQX is better quality but they fly the same.

I did have the first ladybird DSM2 board but it died just when I got it flying properly  I still need to send it back to 9iMod.

So this one does look interesting. Keep us posted mate :)

Ive found some PDF manuals for the REDCON HiBiRD Mini 120mm Quadcopter on the net, but i cannot seem too open them .

The PDF manuals are on chinese web sites . so if anyone can open them and post them here i would be most appreciative if someone could help. :)

The PDF manual might shed a bit more light on the details of the REDCON HiBiRD Mini 120mm Quadcopter.

If anyone could help i would be most appreciative. :o

iPhone label on the side of the box? i have no idea Soma ????

From the pic of the main PCB it looks like it has an Accelerometer chip.... then it is a 6 axis? not sure.
