Good rtr boats under $250
I'm looking for a good brushless boat for under 250. I've found the Turnigy Centurion on hobbyking that is around my range if you and in the lipo and charger. Just wanted to see if you guys have any suggestions. Thanks

As much as I really want to say what Jim said, that is actually a very good hull. That is the Tenshock hull. In the US, MinicatracingUSA is the only distributor with rights to that hull and it rips with their setup.

See here: http://minicatracingusa.com/vcat.html
The specs seem the same, but I'm not sure if the overall would even be close.

Sorry. For my brain fart I was thinking larger boats. You could get a micro for that amount. I would look at proboat they have smaller cats that are rte maybe also aquacraft.

The Proboat and Aquacraft models aren't in this class though.

What about the minimono? That seems to be a pretty sweet little boat.

i recently purchased the minimono and im pleased so far with its performance. 1 thing tho is that I am getting water inside somehow and i have tape all around the cowl. the breakaway rudder thing can be a curse some times cause it came off after a little malfuction in the center of the pond so i had to go retrieve it with a jon boat. but over all i love it.
