Which Gen V911 should I get?

I see two different generations of V911 on the Tmart site. Newer gen says..

"Presently we have two versions of V911. This is the latest one that is different from the previous one. The batteries, landing skids and charger boxes of two versions are different, and the other accessories of two versions are the same. You can click the following photos and select suitable accessories, if necessary."

I own a MSR.. Which gen should I get or which Gen's batteries are easier to mod so I can put all the batteries in my four port charger?

Take a look at this charger MOD for the old style batteries :

For the new style batteries you could use this harness:

I personally prefer the "old" styles, as you can get these cheap BNF :

Yellow v911 BNF : http://www.banggood.com/Wholesale-V9...f-p-46299.html
White v911 BNF : http://www.banggood.com/Wholesale-Wh...f-p-49015.html

Get a cheap LiPo charger, like these :

I think MSR charger is not same size as new V911 battery. I to prefer old style, but don't have the new. I have flown V911's hunderds of flights and never, ever had issue with old battery style. :D

Aren't those V911 clones? There not even made by WL-TOYS.. right?

The ones sold by Tmart are the real McCoy from WL-TOYS from what I understand. And also in a US warehouse instead of china..

You're right, they aren't from WL Toys, but they are really stable ,
maybe more stable then the "original" v911. (I like them )

I think, you only can get the "clones" from banggood.com

Hard to imagine a clone of a clone being better/more stable..

Are the White/Red or White/Blue more or less visible than the Black/Orange when in the air or something? I see the Black/Orange option is 2 bucks cheaper @ Tmart and even cheaper on eBay! Other than batt and accessories, little to no difference between v1 and v2? Just trying to figure out why many outlets sell the Black/Orange for less!

You should go on asking in the main v911 thread : http://www.rcgroups.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1548027

But it's true :)

Yellow V911 is more stable than "orginal" WL Toys ones, it's also tad slower in FFF.

Nothing personal mystman.. But I don't agree with compiling all the questions and answers in a thread with 1000 pages of.. "I Just ordered my new V911 and I want a bone" posts. Searching a 1000 page thread is so much more unproductive compared to starting a thread with a good ,to the point, title.

Sorry mystman if I did something wrong by asking! It's just Tmart was selling the Black/Orange one for $39.99 and the White/Blue and White/Red colors for $41.99 and I just wanted to know if there was any differences between the two packages other than the color of the canopy. The price difference could be only because one color is less popular than the other,... I just didn't know and thought it would be good to ask before I pounded on the "Add To Cart" button!

I've seen this difference several times. The Black/Orange are the "first" v911.
I think they have "too" many in stock. That could cause the price difference.
All sharing the same hardware.

Let me ask this since I cant find it in that long thread.

Will the banggood, lol, bnf v911 bind with the WLToys v911 transmitter? And do all parts between the BG and WLT helis interchange?

Yes and most parts on this yellow "clone of a clone" YV911 are actually better than on orginal V911.
