Banana Hobby price shifts - I dont get it....they have some BIG issues

Pete - BH is a JOKE........ you jack up the prices by $30 the play the game of "Free Shipping"...........man you must think your customers are idiots.

You guys just keep pushing people away..... HORRIBLE BUSINESS MODEL and just plain BAD BUSINESS.

My money will be spent with your competition when you play this game.

What a disgrace to our hobby.

I agree!!! I was going to buy two planes today but found the prices jumped. The FMS F6F was $159 now it is $229 Really????!!! Why advertise Free Shipping then jack the prices up. I'd rather pay $20 shipping than pay $30 more than what I would have.

WT*!!!! I was just getting ready to start a thread on that BS. Pete up your nose with a rubber hose.

I Think this free ship was a good idea. However with the price hike its not free shipping. Very sad. The New price is just to high for your EPO airframes. Now when you run a real sale I will not be buying anything. Your now going down that road as NP did :(

why does banana hobby or similar do these stunts. In no way does this build a customer relation at all. they did this before last year around the same time. I guess time will tell but I know I would not like getting burned time and time again, SO boycott them till they understand.... They are obviously under high demand with too much work!:censored: whatever....lol:)

Got to pay for that new place I guess, what a shame they were doing alot better.

Now I'm going to look somewhere else or do without. Go back to flying wood kits if need be. They can keep the EPO at the new price.

It is a bummer..... Pete was getting some good stuff, then they pull this BS..... 2 steps forward and 3 steps back.

Funny too.... someone at BH actually thinks this is good marketing and good business... really. Try some Business 101 folks.

Hmm, hold your ground for a few months to a year, everyone forgets the old prices and is just happy that they don't have to pay shipping. Good timing for the holiday rush. It will certainly catch new customers and it doesn't cost anything for the "discount." If there is a major outcry over it just claim the prices somehow got screwed up over the weekend and quietly roll them back then suspend the "free shipping" after a week or so.

Shrewd if unethical.

#12 FLYBOB54 Oct 29, 2012 02:49 PM

They won't get any more of my $ even if they put the prices back.

If you live in California, it is a double whammy because you have to pay tax on the price increase and if you live close to BH you can pick it up for free.

Hi twiztidbowler!

The $5 handling fee for local pickups will be waived until further notice. Thanks! -Seba
