With Horizon pushing everything to AS3X, I'm really surprised that its not pasted in huge letters on the side of this thing.

I like it, although kinda expensive.

I wish it had an AS3X RX on it. I'm impressed with the SBACH 3D in the wind. I'd really like to see AS3X make it into this next size up. Even though this plane doesn't have it I will be ordering it from my LHS. What a great size. I love the blenders in the video. It's a blur while in the spin. :D

Crap!! They've done it to me again. Gotta get out the check book. I have dreamed of and asked for a bit larger micro plane ever since I had my first one. This one looks to be just the size I have been waiting for. And just after the new Sbach. Anybody want to trade my brand new Sbach and some cash for one of these?

Shoot, I was like: not interested, not interested, not interested... Then I saw "Designed by Quique..." More than likely another big whole in my wallet!

It's a AR6310 (It's about time they start using this great receiver). Won't take long before somebody replace it with a AR64XX and external ESC just to try AS3X on it, though. (I already made the adapters myself, for my old AR6300 collection) Though, not sure you could make such nice blender with AS3X onboard.

3s recommended wonder if you could fly it 2s for a little bit tamer animal and I really only wonder since I have a pile of 2s 450 batteries here. Hehe.

Pricey but looks to be a must have!

Really like the color scheme. Looking forward to seeing one in person!

Now, let the speculation begin..... When will these be available??:)

I wonder what sort of battery connector it will use? I've got some 3s 450's with JST's on them. And I have a JST to UMX adapater. So hopefully it will be one of those two (JST or UMX).

This plane looks like it could be a lot of fun!

#15 7rider Oct 25, 2012 11:20 AM

My guess is it will be a JST connector. Most of the batteries at that size have JST and for E-flite to use something different would cause some serious customer rage. Love the size and flight performance. Just don't crunch it in hard like a small 3D EPP plane.
