I've been wanting to do this for awhile but needed to get a handle on a good power set-up, after the "Experimental" jets the stock 35mm SkyAngels fans seem to have the poop to give it a go, Saturday and Sunday, off and on I sat down and drew up the plans, I have plans I did for a 70mm unit but scaling that down wouldnt be the same, I needed to do a few design mods to get it down to 16" span so I just went ahead and re-designed it from the ground up. tried to do my best to get the whole step by step pic sequence. its a simple build, started cutting Sunday eve and finished her up today.
so the specks are:

WS.................16"
LNTH..............28"
FAN................SA 35mm
Servos............2 X 5g
Batts...............350mah 2s or 460mah 3s
Cntrls..............tailarons
AUW...............? havent weight her but shes very lite :D

heres the build pics,

PS, forgot to mention that it is built from 5mm de-papered $tree foam, LokTite 200 spray adhesive and 5min epoxy.

Well, at least I have a wing started. Scaled down to 12" WS from your original plans. Plan on going with a 25mm EDF for now. Will build to original specs for simplicity. But this is begging for full flying H Stabs and aileron. The project IS in the que. Been kind of stalled for the past week or so though. Time, time, time!!! I need build time.

just waiting for some "stuff" to show up in the mail, should be here tomorrow, I would like to maiden hopefully Friday morning or Saturday, weather looks good for one of those days.

@Ksqm, fortunately for me finding build time isnt hard, I work swing so I usually have 3-4 hours in the mornings that I can spend building if I want, then sometimes a good 2 hours after I get home, I also build on the dining table :D naa naa naaa so I still have contact with the family pretty much the whole time....so my advice is just start building on the dining table, your wife will fall in love with you all over again, and you'll have more time to build....simple :D:D:D

thanks for the comments all

hey Dave,
this one went pretty fast only because I have already built two in the 70mm size so I had a good idea of how to go about building this one...not to mention its half the size witch helps alot :D
installed the servos and links but still waiting for the fans I ordered, tracking says I should get em today, so hopefully I can get one in it tonight....or tomorrow if they show up...they are in town though :D
