+1 on that...but play safe sherlock, it's a whole new level of care that needs to be taken with models this fast and heavy

Post it in the Jet Forum! After BITW the last thing I need is turbines in the EDF section. Must resist the temptation ;)

Moderators please move this to the Turbine Section

That's the problem with EDF... once you've flown a turbine, EDF looses alot of it's luster.

The other thing you will notice with more flights under your belt is that with EDF's, as the flight progresses performance drops off, with turbines, and the flight progress, performance gets better ;)

Thanks

dave

exactly, you have full power all the time :)

WITH electric you have to throttle managment with turbines you can fly wide open all you want and not have to worry about losing power. I love my jet :)

Think again :) fuel consumption vs Amp hours

Congrats.

Turbines are a good time, and they are the only part of the hobby that still puts a smile on my face.

What part of the world are you in? I noticed you were on a buddy box, so I'm assuming you are in the USA. If so... did you get your waiver sign-off yet?

Man that is freaking awesome.
