Steerable nose wheel repair

2 Attachment(s)
Hey gang,

I have a little T-34 that had a hard landing. The steerable nose wheel assembly broke. The bracket that holds the cleves snapped off the fire wall. I know(Hope) there's a way to fix it. Looking for ideas.

Thanks!

You think it would hold?

Only one way to find out!
It's pretty strong stuff though. just take out the nose gear when you're putting it back on so that you don't accidentally glue it too.

How big of a plane are we talking?

yeah, I think it'll hold. And if not, then you can always find a different way to do it.
Remember, the main gear touch first ;) :D

Epoxy should hold. You might want to put a small brace between those 2 arms (??) .

If that doesn't work, next time get some good hobby ply ( not liteply ). Drill / cut out the old piece and make a new one and epoxy it in. NO Big deal .

You have some good builders in Spring, if they haven't all quit, ask one of them for some assistance , you'd probably make their day . lol ENJOY !!! RED
