Plans from E-Bay

Before you purchase any CD planes. Check the price in your location to have copied.

What?

#3 patmat2350 Oct 08, 2012 05:24 PM

whatever, it's a small price compared to the time and material you'll put into a build.

It shouldn't cost that much for a black-and-white line print. I get mine done at a geological survey place for around 15 per sheet.

Fedex/kinkos charges something like a $1.99 per square foot for copies and for making digital copys to a flash drive

Typically a dollar per linear foot around here.
Sometimes that is two or three foot wide.

Also, you don't need plans full size, you can always print them out half the size of your
building scale and then multiply all your plan dimensions by two.

That is pretty high. Do you have Fedex store nearby? I have used the Fedex / Kinko store in my town, it's about $5 per sheet for a 24" x 36" sheet.

The UPS Store is cheaper than Fedex/Kinkos and they can print from a thunb drive. If you don't have one then email them the plans to be printed out.

Fedex was the high dollar store. I will check with UPS. I usually scratch build. This is for my grandson to get his feet wet. I really appreciate every one of you guys. Thanks, Ronnie

See if you can find a local blueprint shop. I get mine done there fairly cheap, as its charged by the sq. foot. I had 50 24x36" plans copied and scanned for under 75$.
