Well I got the Boat on Ebay Two weeks ago, i wondered how bad it would be, was'ent to bad, hull is about 55 yrs old maybe even old'er. The first thing was to strip the hull to see what was under all that ugly paint job. spent two day's stripping and getting yelled at by the little woman:D. The hull turned out not bad at all, there had been a lot of repair but nothing that a little putty would not fix. The Top cabin ect. could not be saved. I have a set of side view's but I'll have find a set of the top view before I can start on that area. Heres some pic's.

Refurb !!!

Man, if there were EVER a need for a "refurb" category here, this is THE candidate for where it should start..

Big fun to see what was under that paint !

I dont think I'm going to need them. I started making the frame work buy using the side view, it looks prettiy close, I'll post a picture. The hull is going to take alot of sanding.

Gary, You've got a lot of work ahead of you on this project, but it should be a real head-turner when you get through with it. You've made a good bit of progress on it already. I hope you carefully looked for and saved the metal fittings from the cabin structure before you discarded it; some of the metal bits are rather small and not so easy to duplicate.
I'll be eagerly following your progress on this one. She should be a knockout.
Bill
PS - Some lights would be really nice.
