This is Don Srull's magnificent electric ff and/or rc DO-X --he flies it both ways. Hope you enjoy it.

FF as in free flight?...I couldnt think of that much work flying around with no control...very nice

Yes Glenn, Don built the DO-X in 1989 and it is still going strong! Hope you are doing well.

Zowie!! That fellow is one lucky or blessed person to have an airplane like that for so long. One or two of my planes didn't make it 23 seconds, can't imagine 23 years. Thanks for the video it's inspiring.

Absolutely beautiful ! A couple of years back, Model Aviation had a cover photo of Don's airplane. I have always thought that was on of the best covers I have ever seen on a model magazine. Not only was it a great photograph, but it just grabbed you. It was inspiring. I have always wanted to see the model flying, and could not believe at the time that it was free flight.

No take off and landing scenes available. Here are some of my uncropped favorite shots of the DO-X. Especially like the clouds -- looks so real.
