F3J In December " Schnepf in Queen Creek, AZ

The Central Arizona Soaring League (CASL) is proud to announce its Second Annual F3J event called “F3J In December”. This contest promises to be an outstanding event with great weather, a beautiful location and of course some of the best people you will meet. It will be held at Schnepf Farms in Queen Creek, Arizona, which is the same location that we host the annual Southwest Classic and F3j in the Desert. The turn out last year was great and we all had a wonderful time. We hope you will join us again this year.

The contest will be held the weekend of December 1-2 2012. We are planning to have ten lanes and five man teams. We will allow each team to use two winches with braided on ford longshaft and monofilament line on legal F3B winches. The turnaround position will be marked for both F3B and Ford longshaft winches; hand tow team will be allowed. For this event we don’t plan to have fly offs to ensure the most airtime for out of town people. We are planning to fly as many rounds as possible on Saturday and fly until 4:00 pm on Sunday.

Trophies will be awarded to pilots placing 1st – 3rd.

Camping is allowed on-site for an extra fee on $25.00 for dry and $35.00 for wet. The field will be available Friday afternoon for practice and setup.

Contest fee: $ 45.00 per contestant
