OK, I give up ...
... NOOOO :D ... not what you might think!
I am NOT getting out of RC - but I finally realized that I will NEVER win! I wont be the one who dies with the most toys ... EVER!!! :( ... :o
So I decided to start slowly (but thoroughly :D ...) selling off the "toys" that would do better somewhere else than with me.
And every time I do, I will mention it here. Plus, the index will give me a "timeline" and also will keep my fond memories alive ;) ... (IF there even IS anybody who actually buys the stuff)
anyway, here´s the start:
First sale attempt: 120SR parts
I really love these parts, but I fly the 120SR waaaay too little that having them - and not even installing the larger part of them - really doesnt make sense. So they really should find a better home!
Subscribed. I know I'm in trouble here... :D
I think it's a good idea E to sell some of your stuff. You'll make some space and but new stuff with the cash.
Get the camera, take photos, make a new thread, post photos with descriptions, parts list and price.
Make the dialog between buyers you via email and they pay for shipping.
Mystery Box, 6-3.5 ch.micros for 20 bucks + shipping.
Time to make a clean break.
I'll buy that Walkera Super FP off you... next year!!!
Some things are not meant to be held onto forever.
So says a man with no room to talk with a Corvette he has not raced in 8 years and sees more mileage going vertical for inspections than he drives horizontally.
second sale attempt: black/orange V911
this is just a heads up about my next attempted sale. I did intend to finally get personal "proof" on how the new V911 differs from the old one ... in particular I wanted to lay to rest my confusion about those new batteries and provide a bullet proof reference as to what to expect.
Unfortunately the guys at TMart (which unfortunately has the reputation of being the ONLY stateside store to offer this version ... and for an "official" review/write-up I need the stuff quick and cant afford to wait a month to get it from china) dont seem to take the difference between OLD and N E W!!! too seriously, because that is what they sent me - an OLD version ... and of those I really got enough!!! Ughhhh !!!:mad::mad:
So, as it would cost ME close to 10$ to send this one back, I rather loose the 10$ by selling it on to someone who actually WANTS it.
As TMart does not have the BNF versions in new (which is a second strike ....) this is a RTF version. I did not even take it out of the box for a little hover test yet. (but I guess that is what might be expected by the buyer)
Anyway, it will go up for sale on Saturday morning, so if anybody who reads my blog is playing with the idea to get a new (OLD) V911, you might wanna take a look at the classifieds on Saturday morning ...
second sale attempt: black/orange V911 part2
OK, it is Saturday morning almost 3AM here in PA (so it is Saturday morning EVERYWHERE in the ConUS) and as I promised in post#5, the last black/orange V911 I received goes up for sale!
(Tmart send me the wrong item, I would like to not loose the money for having to ship it back to them :(.)
Someone IS in need of a(nother?) V911 right now, right??? :D
more for sales ...
Today I put another one of my helis up for sale - my SP270 will be in search of a new (and loving) home.
I focus too much on the mCPX and nano to keep a spare SP270 (as even the "main 270" gets barely ever flown ...)
Lets see if someone is interested ...
... seemingly not - I wonder why ???
so here is the thread again, in "updated" version ;)
now the 9958 has to go as well ...
... because I simply cant get it to fly the way I want it to ... not in the roughly 10 flights I tried - and I am really tired of trying!
It has a ton of Xtras with it! (I bought the heli at Xheli and the spares/mods at a whole lot of different places - easily 4 or 5 ... :( ...)
Its here in the classifieds if anybody is interested in a bird that needs tinkering or just an enormous amount of spare parts:
