Not to be a stickler, but the ALES League rules state that the landing has to be 5-15 meters. 5 meters is 16.4 feet. So you'll need to stretch those tapes to be legal!

Have fun, it is a great contest format.

Thanks, Curtis.

The tapes are, in fact, 5 meters. Just a typo out of habit.

Hey, take a trip and join us. :D

That's too bad.. because I'm pretty sure there won't be snow on the ground yet.

Personally, I'm always up in the air until the last week or so... until I know my work schedule.

One day contests that are close, are usually okay for me.
I will try hard to make it.

Can you believe my wife planned for us to go to MV for a wedding that weekend, bumma.

Too bad.
It's a real pain to get on and off that island for a day.

Jaizon, where is New Hampshire? :D

#10 jaizon Sep 04, 2012 10:40 AM

I will remember that come next year's Polecat. ;)

P.S. Texas is not the biggest state in the Union. Just sayin'.

Where is Texas?

#12 Kenny Sharp Sep 11, 2012 05:49 AM

37 degrees fahrenheit here this morning.

I might actually have to put on a pair of sweatpants over my shorts.
Any Southerners that are coming here for the contest, better bring your hand warmers.

Texans should bring their 10 gallon hat warmers.:D

The Great Carnac says - No Texans would dare show up at this event!

#14 jaizon Sep 19, 2012 07:25 PM

Less than two weeks. Special note to Kenny, Lincoln, Dick, Randy, and other close by flyers - this will be a fun filled day and the foliage is already getting beautiful. :D:D:D

7 hours is close by?? Oh.

If the weather looks ok, I'll probably be there. Someone needs to be there to show you how to surf. :)
