Always wanted to build one and now with my new found knowledge, Im gonna go ahead and put it on my list.

Lots of info in here with so many other builds. Gonna try for AUW of 20-23oz Powered by a Dons wicked 4000kv het 64mm on 4s.

This currently was gonna use a 67mm i had lying around that now has found a home in another ship.

Inlet FSA is around 95% Exhaust is 85%
im running into a problem though.

I want striaght out the pipe exhaust duct but this puts the edf to high on the formers. I really want to keep the current size on the airframe

I may scale this one back for a 50mm wemo if all goes well.

Great subject, I would love to see this come together! Are you using Sketchup for your plans? I'm working on learning how to do that.

Will have to keep an eye on this one. I had thought we had the F-106 stationed here, but it was the F-102. Up until 1983, we had an active USAF Base here, like many it was closed.

That CAD is looking really nice! Where are you going to get the parts cut?

I m cutting the parts. With hot wire tools.

putting finishing touches on some of the sections, I should be cutting templates out this week and begin the foam this weekend.

Maiden on the J-14 edf went well so got to get paint on her before I loose interest.

subbed. wish I could learn to use a CAD program. not enough time at this point in my life. pen and paper is my friend for now. LOL.

Once you learn CAD you will never go back. Speaking of software, I had a student turn all of his pre-calc homework in using Excell. He never uses a pencil for homework.

If someone taught me how, I could learn. Never been one to try and teach myself. Mechanically I can teach myself anything, but I'm a bit computer illiterate. LOL.
