Well, well,well. We are always searching for good deals and this Transmitter seems to be one that is a total "can't miss". I purchased the Transmitter, Receiver, Module combo from Hobbypartz.com at the incredible price of $74.50 with free shipping! Here's the linkio:http://www.hobbypartz.com/79p-th9x-r...nel-radio.html

The Turnigy version of this radio can be found at the US warehouse righta here: http://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/s...arehouse_.html ($64.75 + shipping-Mode 2)
and from the International warehouse here: http://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/s...Firmware_.html ($53.95 + shipping-Mode 2)
Even though they are basically all the same radios, this is strictly a review/tutorial on the Fly Sky 9 channel radio, receiver combo.

Now, while it's still being shipped across the USA here are some specs(taken from the Hobbypartz website):

Specifications:

(1)、channels: 9channels TH9X
(2)、model type: helicopter ,airplane, glider
(3)、RF power: less than 20db;

(11)、power:12VDC(1.5AA*8);
(12)、weight:680g;
(13)、ANT length:26mm;
(14)、size:190*80*240mm;

Included in the box:

The radio is capable of:

I just ordered this same radio yesterday. I was thinking of getting the forthcoming Turnigy 9XR, but this deal was too good to pass up.

It is just too good to pass up. It's tough to find a better deal outside of the Turnigy and Fly Sky 9x transmitters. I just hope it lives up to my expectations!

I just purchased a FS-TH9X 2.4GHz 9CH system, I put in 8 brand new "AA" batteries nd turned the power on. i heard a couple of beeps, then it began a pattern of single beeps about 2 seconds apart and the display never came on and nothing i did seemed to get any response out of the transmitter. is my system faulty, or am I doing something wrong? I tried reading the manual for inital setup, but it dosent cover it at all. or i missed it. all i seen was how to setup the programs for different models?
