S-3 Viking progress
1 Attachment(s)
After a lengthy "development" period, I finally got the S-3 all sorted out and flying extremely well. We built two with a third under construction. One is 70mm EDF, the other, built by my friend Gene, is prop-driven. This was a design goal all along and, in fact, the pylons/nacelles can be bolted in place, depending on your power choice. I tried to make it easy to build with conventional materials and off-the-shelf retracts. Hope you enjoy it; I find the "scratchbuilt" jets forum among the most interesting and informative of all of them. Lots of great effort and creativity here!

Hi Rich
Looking good when do you think, parts, plans etc will be available

Hi Rich,
The S-3 looks pretty good. I checked you're website and see you don't have a price on it yet. Is that coming soon I hope?

Also, your T-33 and P-80 look pretty sharp and are at a good price. I'm really surprised I haven't seen someone do a build log on one here. You should think about it to stir up some interest in a couple of sleepers.

Bad Lemon,
I went through the gyrations required by RC Video for posting vids to RCU. Got a pop-up that said the site was "full". E-mailed "Magnify" (video host) and got no answer. Finally posted the video to You Tube. Here's the link:

Thank you all. I enjoy it more each time I fly it! Here's the 82" (90mm) version.
