Showtime 4D 90 with BCMA (SPE) 26CC Gas Engine

$420 without receiver
$470 with AR7000

Will sell Receiver Ready or with a Spectrum AR7000 Receiver.

Not quite 3D capable but flies patterns great. Has a nice slow stall speed.

Here are the parts that are included:
  • 1 x BCMA tuned SPE-26CC Engine with electronic ignition (with instructions).
  • 2 x HS-645MG Aileron Servos
  • 2 x HS-645MG Elevator Servos
  • 1 x HS-5645MG Digital Rudder Servo
  • 1 x HS-81MG Throttle Servo
  • Ready to fly, bind with a Spektrum radio or add your own receiver
  • 1 x 4 cell 2000mAh Ignition Ni-MH battery (Sanyo Eneloop Low self discharge)
  • 1 x 5 cell 2000mAh Receiver Ni-MH battery (Sanyo Eneloop Low self discharge)
  • 2 x Unused side force generators (the "4D" aspect of the plane)

Would look into shipping but it's a large air frame so would be concerned about cost. Would prefer local pickup/delivery.

On the underside, one of the yellow shapes (like the red curve you can see on top) has come away and would need replacing to look "perfect" (see below).

The landing gear mounting block has been reinforced as this was always a weak spot with the showtime.

I've put 19 flights totaling 2 hours and 50 minutes. Average flight time has been 9 minutes. Longest recorded flight was 15 minutes and there was still plenty of gas left in the tank! I always air on the side of caution.

Is the plane not capable of 3-D maneuvers due to power limitations of the engine, or plane design itself?

Thanks,

Dave

Hey Dave,

The plane is capable (pilot may not be) but the engine doesn't have quite enough power. It will climb 300-400' before running out of steam.
