Atomik Metal Mulisha MM450 with E-Gyro

Welcome to the new thread to cover all things Atomik Metal Mulisha MM450 dirt bike with the new brushless E-Gyro.
For those of you who own a VMX 450 this thread will be a good source to look up info on the E-Gyro.
Please keep this thread on topic even though we understand the VMX and the MM450 have the same chassis in common.

Thanks for your support and enthusiasm!

Chris

We have a few bikes ahead of schedule but these are being tested and inspected right now. The bulk of the shipment will arrive in less than 2 weeks to port.

some cool pics on the venom and atomik facebook pages of what seemed to be some serious testing going on

Testing has been good and we identified that a simple 2mm plug is going to be a big problem so we are changing them all out, getting rid of them. This was a late discovery unfortunately but an important one so the bike is more reliable and trouble free.

Here's a short teaser vid showing it on the track. It's not the cleanest lap, but the driver had not piloted an RC motorcycle in over 5 years, and never one off-road. This is the Hot Rod Hobbies track in Santa Clarita, CA -- a very challenging track made for 1:10 cars, and just barely big enough for 1:8 buggies.

YeeeeeHA!!!!.... finally a dirt bike we can take on the track and possibly RACE!!!!!.... that track was SO rutty that I'm surprised that even the 8th scale buggies can run on it... and it's really dry and slippery

That's very impressive with the stock low-grip knobbies

look at how slow you can run the MM450 now with the e-gyro and it still keeps its composure... NICE!
