Solar servo=Fail
2 Attachment(s)
The servo arm screws are too long, had to add a stack of washers to take up the slop.

There are different answers to this questions.
what splines are the Solar servos? do they fit JR/ Futaba Horns?

Thank you

#5 RaidenCharlie Jun 21, 2012 04:28 PM

They are 23 splines so JR or Airtronic horns will work.

i thought mine were too long (657, 658's) ... got a better driver and a better grip and it went all the way down.

The replacements screws I was sent were not even for a metal gear servo, they were for a plastic gear servo, I give up.

I apologize for the mix up. We will have the correct one shipped out as soon as possible.

At least you got arms, My solar D658's came with screws that were too long and no arms whatsoever, just lost a plane because I was using futaba arms and they would not screw all the way down and eventually stripped the inside of the arm. went to hobbypartz.com and cant even find an e mail addy to contact them. I would really like to get the right size screws and get a definite answer on wht arms these things take
