Ordering a Hot Pink Jolt on Monday...

Been out of the hobby for a few years. It's time for a mini hotliner/F5d w/folding prop? The plan is an 11101Y 6.7, 4s, GM 11x22. Ice light 100a. Not sure what size battery yet. (1800 65c - 2700 65c) Will go with 3s initially to find CG and throws. Then the real fun begins :p Do you guys think I need to buy a carbon friendly receiver or can I use a 6200 with remote antenae with the wiskers hanging out? I have a CC bec and will probably use it for receiver power. As far as servos I will probably go with what Soaring suggests.

I also have a TP250mah and a 6v linear Smart fly reg. to power the receiver. OK with that? As far as servos I will probably go with what Soaring suggests.

I would say def get all your whiskers out in the breeze, and a 6200 wont allow that (very easily). That bad boy is going to be a missile! Wouldn't want to lose it for lack of signal.

Please post up once you get it, the model looks like it will be a winner (for a few bucks less even).

They call it red but the picture looks like it's pink if you ask me.

Looking at the description it seems like a pretty good deal. Thay have the option of adding flaps but seeing where the ailerons are on the wingtips, I think that I'd just use flaperons and save the extra weight.

Hmm well it sure looks like pink. I wouldn't use flaperons at the wing tips, it can induce tip stalling

However spoilerons would work well =]
