Prop adapter for NTM Prop Drive Series 4248 650kv

Anyone care to help out a noobie? ;)

I ordered this NTM Prop Drive Series 4248 650kv motor and I need a prop adapter to fit it. Can I just order any prop adapter that is 5mm? I was told by someone else that I need an 8mm prop adapter but I don't know where he got that number from . This prop adapter should work, right?
Here are the specs on the motor:
Model: NTM Prop Drive Series 4248 650kv
Kv: 650rpm/v
Turns: 7T
Max current: 70A
Max Power: 1295W
Shaft: 5mm
Weight: 243g
ESC: 60~70A
Cell count: 4~5s Lipoly
Front Mounting Hole Distance: 25mm
Connection: 4mm Bullet-connector

That states that it's for an 8mm shaft though.. The motor has a 5mm shaft.. Am I wrong?

dunno. the 42-58 says it's a 5mm shaft too, but the 42 series kit does say 8mm. good question.

i just looked and the 35-48 i ordered says 5mm shaft, but the 32 series kit says 6mm shaft. if you wanna wait a couple days both are already ordered from the us warehouse. i can let you know... i have a sneaking suspicion the specs aren't being updated from motor to motor. a 35 series shouldn't have the same diameter shaft as the 42 series...

Yah, something must be up. Well I ordered it anyways because some other dude said that's what he ordered for the same motor, so we'll see!
Thanks!

The 8mm dimension is size of the threaded shaft that the prop goes over. The prop adapter attaches to the magnet housing with screws it does not slide over the motor shaft.

If you want a collet type prop adapter it will have a 5mm collet and a 8mm prop shaft.
