Hi Keenan.:D

The Moded Radian flys very well.
Longer , slower glides.
Theres been a debate going on ( far to long  )
on the main Parkzone Radian thread about this mod..

For me it works , the mod is not for every one..
I have two Radian that I fly , one stock the other moded.
A friend at our flying club can fly my stock Radian ,
but cann't fly the moded one as he says its far to sensitive .

Sean.

Full rate on Aileron / Elevator
D/R 100%
Expo -50%

Half rate
D/R 60%
Expo -50%

i love gliders with lotsa elevator authority (i hate a mushy elevator response) that way when mixed with plenty of throw you can save yourself from sitcky situations ie a stall and an effective control surface moiving a tiny amount is more effiecient than an uneffective one which needs alot of throw
just my $0.2

@Sean is it as rearward as possible for a more efficient Longer Glide?? and more effective elevator?
Where do you Reccomend i place the CofG on my Venom ?? (it has the same wing shape as the CMpro Ventus minus winglets) and better yet its soon to come Bigger brother the Venom II?

i have just Dry fitted both wings and balanced it useing a 4cell nimh 2000mah Rx pack right up near the nose and the CG is at at 43mm From the LE at the mo (my Wings have a lil more Forward Sweep)

all thats left to do is Cut and hinge the Ailerons, Run some Extensions to the aileron servos, Pull a Canopy, Cover the Wings, sheet the Boom balance And Fly!

I've done this mod and love the difference in performance I now get out of my Radian.

For everyone doing the CG balancing, don't forget to balance the wings horizontially as well. Any trim you have to use to keep the wings level because one wing is heavier than the other is wasting away your energy.

One Chinese Yuan ( about the size of a quarter) in the right wing balanced my wings perfectly.
