Hey Aussie flyers!! ExtremeRC is looking into doing a limited edition run of TopGun Mirage III kits, in Australian colours.

The colour scheme I am looking at right now are in the photos below.

Camo is one of my favourites, I think it looks great, it did on my mirage, and it would lend itself to being changed into other versions of the Mirage quite easily.

So lets hear everyones thoughts, who will put their hands up for an Aussie Mirage? :)

Just as a teaser, here is my original MIRAGE III I built years ago, custom airbrushed in Aussie colours, it looked awesome in the air, I love this plane!

Fanta can is not looking too popular right now, so I will concentrate on getting the camo one done first, should look real nice anyway!

Hi Mark,
I'll sign up NOW for one - camo would be fine.

When I have info on the new Mirage I will post it up straight away, price should not be much different to the original, still under $200.00 delivered anywhere in Australia. For US and EU/UK shipping will be a little more but not much.

Hi Mark, I'm certainly interested in one. Prefer the orange scheme for all weather flying. What size fan is intended ? 90mm?

#11 Zootster May 26, 2012 08:23 PM

Yes Mark, I am really interested in one. What size are they? Same as the big FLyFly one?

#12 Extreme_RC May 27, 2012 12:46 AM

Same mold will be used, 90mm flyfly/topgun Mirage, topgun is still up in the air with too many little projects, its driving me nuts, I am hoping to get him to commit to shooting a few dozen at least to start with, camo will be the only colour to start, and will make sure there are some plain EPS kits left aside for those who want white to do their own colours. Decals are another thing I want sorted in house, its proving difficult to get people moving on projects in china right now...

Wow I need one of these. My uncle has a lot of miracle hours (was OC of one of the squadrons) I spent many hours in the cockpit of one wishing.. then I broke his heart and became a rotary wing pilot!!!

Count me in for a camo one!!!!

How do we pay and when will it be ready?

How about 75 or 77 squadron scheme rather than the 2OCU training scheme?
