Hyperion 1420 iNET3 on 13 volts input???

can any one shed some lighht on this:confused:

the input voltage for this charger ranges from 11v to 29v .. that's a massive difference

has anyone got experience of how well or badly this charger performs on a traditional 13.8 volt (30 amp) power supply?

cheers
bb

You do not get full output power.

12v = 50% power output give or take, at 24v you will reach full output.

You need to power that charger with 24V to get high output.
At 13.8volts it doesn't matter how many AMPS you throw at it, you will only get about half the output.

aye, half is good enough for the present moment - does it shorten the charger's life, working it like this ?

No it wont, no problem
