If you guys want to do the right thing you should buy from http://fpv-japan.com/item/fj-dvr-sd4/lang/en/ as he is the guy who helped develop the firmware to make it useful for FPV recording.

does anyone has a link to the manual??? there is no manual included... n yes i did receive a battery with it. i have recorded 30 seconds clips. will upload tonight

#11 bovi Apr 05, 2012 01:03 PM

As I said before, manual not exist.
I do not see the need for guidance, where everything is clear and only a few standard buttons on recorder.

I also did not received lipo battery.
It is logical that both products come from the same production.
On fpv-japan site (http://fpv-japan.com/product-info/fj-dvr-sd4/lang/en/) there is an explanation about battery:
Where is my battery?!
Please note that due to logistics issues the batteries are normally shipped from the US. So when you open your shipment please do not despair, your batteries are somewhere on there way to you.
We did of course put this information in the shipping notice email but probably in the excitement you overlooked it.
I know we would too
More recent orders will hopefully see batteries arriving about the same time as the DVR.
Please accept our apologies for this inconvenience.

I hope, BEVRC will (or already is) send battery, but I am a little bit afraid, because I wrote this question, but there is no answer for now :( .

I found this - also fpv-japan (oem, clone or the same):
FPV BlackBox Flight Recorder MPEG4 PVR - CarbonBird

For all those who have BEVRC-PV700 or FPV-JAPAN, here is good explanation of button function.
