would u trade

#3 redball8 Mar 03, 2012 06:38 AM

Yes, I'm open to trades. Wouldn't happen to have any large (1/3 scale or so) full-body pilots, would you? Large (5" or more) spoked wheels? OS type-F glow plugs?

#4 hobbiconexstar Mar 03, 2012 02:19 PM

i do not have any of those. i have other things tho

#5 redball8 Mar 03, 2012 02:46 PM

Ok ... like what?

#6 hobbiconexstar Mar 03, 2012 03:25 PM

i have the guts out of the brushless strkrer,a few tranmiters, and a flew planes

#7 redball8 Mar 03, 2012 03:42 PM

Would you happen to have a 25-amp ESC (brushless)? That would cut what I'd want for the header and pipe in half ...

#8 redball8 Mar 03, 2012 03:43 PM

What planes do you have? Any kits?

#9 hobbiconexstar Mar 03, 2012 05:08 PM

i have a hobbico nexstar(needs rebild),great planes flatout electric zero, great planes revelver 46 that needs just right wing and elctronics in it and alittle tlc, all of that for the header and tuned pipe? im 14 and trying to put it on my new plane. can u help me out?

#10 redball8 Mar 03, 2012 05:30 PM

I'll bet we can figure something out.

Have you used a tuned pipe before? This one needs a coupler and a pressure tap at the header. Silicone tubing is usually used for the coupler, but a piece of heater hose can work ihn a pinch.

What is in the guts of the Striker? Is there an ESC there that would handle 20 amps?

#11 hobbiconexstar Mar 03, 2012 05:57 PM

no i havent but i would have a expericnced builder helping me and yes the brushless speed controller is a eflight 25 amp pro.

#12 hobbiconexstar Mar 03, 2012 06:35 PM

so yes the 25 amp will easily hold up to 20 and would work great for 20 amps

#13 redball8 Mar 03, 2012 07:22 PM

How about we trade the Nextstar and the Eflite 25amp ESC for the header and pipe? Does that sound good to you?

#14 hobbiconexstar Mar 03, 2012 07:31 PM

ok, but first just letting u know that the nexstar is going to need somework. it was out of balance and was flow into a tree, its only the airfame(fuse, wing and 2 tail section) the landing gear will b included and how much will the shipping be to ship the nextar?

#15 hobbiconexstar Mar 03, 2012 07:33 PM

the wings are in perfect shape and the tail is also. basically the fuse from the windows forward need work
