Very close But looks like a good Clone. . Board is a bit different including shape plugs/placement and such..plastic also seems to be formed different.

Edit:
Looks like the battery faces forward too...

Thanks for the link. I wonder if it's Spektrum compatible. Flight video's extremely wobbly though. My mcpx would never do that under any circumstance.

#4 RawmadeCF Feb 06, 2012 06:36 PM

It costs almost as much as the genuine...not very tempting

The copying of the MCPx is so close that I would think either the manufacturer of the MCPx is involved, or that there is whole scale piracy, including the software for the FBL system.

The China manufacturer of the MCPx had sued Nine Eagles in the past for breaking its patents on the linear servos. This is an even more obvious case of copying. If the manufacturer of the MCPx is involved, you may well see more Blade products being released in future. Note that Blade helis are not sold in China.

The shape and board layout is totally different. Also it doesnt look near as stable as the real deal. Also the price is insane for a clone!

But I think they are just good at making knock offs..nothing special

I agree. That wobble is the first thing i noticed that wasnt anything similar to the mcpx. Mine inverted is dead steady.

Maybe its the pilots shaky fingers or possibly the nuclear radiation from whatever bomb went off at that flying field...lol..

Would be interesting if there are spare parte mcpx compatible at least at the half of the price!

Almost looks like "heli espionage".....
Just walk into Blade HQ in IL.....and take the blueprints right off the drafting board....!!
No wonder the:censored:Chinese can make stuff cheaper.....they "bypass" the design factor and just copy the parts!!!

If the Solo Pro 100 3d sells for cheaper, I cant imagine, they will sell the heli for about 160 bucks in the end.

The board looks very different to mCP x board, square tube tail, "Mini-Xtwin-Tailrotor", ... price for spare servos will be interesting ;)

This one came as a surprise. There have been rumors floating around that a Align Trex 100 3G or clone will be coming out soon. It seems as a completely new manufacturer suddenly came up with a new 100 CP. It is much more difficult to clone a micro CP than let's say a 450, especially the all-in-one board.

The chances are that we are dealing with a completely new manufacturer but one that we already know.

There is a much better 3D video here

That price is too high for a heli with a piezo gyro.....You must remember that the MCPX has mems gyros and this has piezo gyros which do not function too well in cold weather.

#14 indoorheli Feb 07, 2012 10:41 AM

if it was 50-60 rtf it might be an ok deal. But I think parts might be the only point of this heli, well unless they are expensive too

I fear parts will be expensive too!:banghead:

Looks like to change the battery you have to remove the canopy...
