A few more photos before calling it a night. I'm running a little late and need to hit the showers.

Thanks roto. You must have been typing while I was I didn't see it until just now. It's not as sexy as your 41" App but is better suited to what I'll be doing with it. Already answered your question with what I was working on posting. :)

I was a little concerned that the rails might be in the way for putting packs in it but checked while ago and it will swallow 2 5s packs down each sponson with no problem. As for quality, I have no problems with the hulls that Frank is selling. The insides of this one look great. I found one little spot on the inside that needed to be de-burred and already fixed it. Found one little dimple at the back (outside) edge of one of the sponsons too, but not going to worry about it since it won't even be in contact with the water when it's on step. (If it's anything like my Sprintcat)

This is the replacement boat for Goldfinger since I sold it right before Christmas. It's somewhere over near your neck of the woods now. (Louisiana) It's also financing this build. :D I do have a couple I'm looking to get rid of though. Got a nice 54" mono you could take home with you next time you're over this way. ;)

Bill,

Can you measure the actuall length of the hull? I have always hoped that boat would be shy an inch and be legal for Q.

I had already measured it last night for the same reason Ray. (then forgot to post it) It's actually 41.5" in length and 16" on beam.

Thanks Chris. I don't know if the skeg stut will even be needed on this hull but thought I'd try one of them out anyways.

If you do a google search for "promise hobby" it will pop up the link for his ebay store. I can't send the link for it from here since the firewall at work is set to block ebay. (guess too many employees were spending too much time there)

Got kind of a late start tonight after driving up to St Pete after work to deliver a plane that I sold. Still managed to get the strut and rudder bracket installed though.
