I think it will be within the first quarter of the 2012 for the availability.
Where do we actually get the Alien Air? Not available means, no fun.

8.5mm motors, gear drive.

Beside, I already have DSM2/DSMX transmitters available so this will do the job. $169.99 for RTF and $139.99 for the BNF seems ok to me.

there should be some settings available to change from X to + for different flying characteristics?

brushed :(

#10 tc3wins Dec 29, 2011 06:52 AM

I think it would be good for the kiddos that want to get into quads. and don't want to spend alot of money on one. also they may release a brushless upgrade for it in the future.

well, just have in mind WHO hh wants to sell to...
and the normal hobbyist will be satisfied with brushed motors...
at the end, the price is the most important selling argurment...and i do like the price..
happy new year.

The big outcome from this will be it bringing more people to the multicopter side of RC. People will want to move up after getting their feet wet with this.

Flitelab- very well said. it will get more into the multirotor scene.....

I hope it'll be able to lift at least a small keychain camera. If so, I'm a likely future owner/pilot! :)
