RCGroups goes Mobile!
1 Attachment(s)
I've heard a lot of you meatspacers move about from place to place...

That's why I'm very excited about the new RCGroups.mobi site, the RCG with mobilitationism!

Say you are out in a flying field and BAM! you need some RCG, what do you do? I'll tell you what do, you type RCGroups.mobi into your smartphone or other mobile device and HOLY COW you will be on our beautiful new mobile site!!

The "mobi" site is missing some features but it uses less bandwidth so it will load faster.

Go check it out!

I've been using this for quite a while and the facelift is nice.
It's actually quite good for reading as sometimes with all the ads and avatars and other stuff pages can get a bit "busy" looking.

Looks good. I'll start "playing" with it on the iPad.

It looks and works great!
The only thing I'd like to add to it is the ability to "quote" other posts in a thread.

darn, and I just wasted $1.99 on some cruddy forum reader app.
This mobi site version is much better than the app.

So much easier to navigate!
How about a "My RCG Mobi" option as well though?

Am I missing something here?I'm using iPad on 3G,so I can access the main site anywhere there is a signal. Can I upload pics,or do I still need a 3rd party app. From my point of view this is the main problem for mobile use.

Seems very interesting.
Although I'm succesfully using Tapatalk application on all my mobile devices (smartphone and tablet). It's not free but it is very useful since it gives you simple access to a tons of forums you may be subscribed to. Most forums worldwide are supported on a huge amount of subjects including RCG, too.
