Plane is an H&M Performance Spitfire. .60 sized and 65" wingspan.
Hobby King Turnigy SK 50-55S motor running 15*4 APC Thin Electric prop.
CC 100A ICE ESC.
Battery 6S 22.2V 5000 30C. Pulls 73A in vertical climbs, 58 flat and level.

Parkzone T28

480 size 960KV motor.
Stock Battery 11.1V 1800 mAh 15C
currently using Hyperion 11.1V 2100 mAh 25C/Nano-tech 11.1V 2200 mAh 25C/Sky Lipo 11.1V 2200 mAh 25C

I'd love to try the Genesis 11.1V 2200 mAh 55C

I can't think of a more popular plane in need of more "pop". It's probably one of the most popular reliable planes in RC but all stock it's horrifically under powered.
I just ordered 3 Gen Eco's and have a set of nano techs. I already posted here in the battery forum that the nano techs made a noticable difference vs both the stock battery and my Hyperion and Sky Lipo 25C 3S.

I'd love to see what difference a truly high end 3S battery would make. If it's a noticable improvement I'd certainly buy more.

It uses a 3s1p1300 but anything from a 3s1p1000mah to a 1600mah will work.
I would love to report here about my findings after testing.

Robert

I would like to try the 6S 2800 mah lipo 40C or 55C. I want to compare them to my Gens Ace 6S 2500mah 25C and my Sky 6S 3000mah 30C. Here's my MSH Protos 500 Heli. All stock. MSH 880KV, 14T pinion.
Manufacturer recommends 6S 2600 to 2800 mah 30C or above.

well, ive got a doozie. here is my 3dhs 104" 100cc electric powered AJ slick. It runs on a hacker a100-10 and castle ice 160HV swinging a mejzlik 29x12s prop. runs on 12s11000mah, so 4x 6s5500 packs.

the second plane is a 3dhs 65" Vyper that runs on a single 6s5500 pack. It has a motrolfly 4320-400 and castle ice 100 swinging a xoar 18x10e prop.

Both planes run on anderson power poles

Got a squall EDF with the stock 4s setup,3500kv motor,45amp esc deans connector,hs-65hb servos..The recommended battery is a 4s 2500 30c.I would love to try a 14.8 55c 2500 Genesis in it to see what it would do.

#12 Downsouth Nov 30, 2011 06:04 PM

My ParkZone Jug modified to a razorback. Running a G-25 870kv motor with the 4 blade prop. Needs that extra umph than the stock 3S 11.1V 2200mAh 25C can give with the 4 blade on her. Would love to try one :)

All stock 75mm fans. Changed out the 20 amp esc's w/ 30 amp's

Running 3S 2200mah 30C batteries, and she definitely would benefit from a GENS ACE 3s 2200mah "55C" battery. Plus I could use the new GENS ACE in my new A10 1040mm "Black Lightning" kit I just got from BANANA HOBBY!:D
